Rann Cannon, CFA
Chief Investment Officer & Portfolio Manager
Rann has worked in the investment industry for over 20 years, predominantly as a securities trader at two Canadian investment dealers. As the Vice President of Trading for 12 of those years, he served a supervisory role over Portfolio Managers’ & Financial Advisors’ equity and option activities. For this firm he created and managed a discretionary equity portfolio, conducted due diligence on individual securities, and provided advisory and execution services for clients in order to create investment policy statements and devise appropriate asset allocation.
Mr. Cannon has a strong history of creating and managing portfolios for high net worth and institutional clients.
With extensive experience in securities analysis, Mr. Cannon is always improving his financial knowledge and understanding. Rann has earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology and is a CFA charterholder.
SPENCER MACCOSHAM, MBA
PRESIDENT & Portfolio manager
Spencer has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry, including over 12 years as Managing Director, Head of Trading at two large Canadian investment dealers, where he ran international and domestic equities and fixed income. At these firms, he oversaw private client and proprietary trading, in addition to individually managing portfolios for institutions, municipalities, and high net worth clients. Mr. MacCosham also oversaw a team of over two dozen TSX market-makers, and created and operated the first NASDAQ Market Making operation in Canada.
Spencer has sat on and led numerous industry committees. He is past Chair of the International Trading Committee with the Security Traders Association of New York, and past Chair of the Canadian Security Traders Association.
Spencer earned an undergraduate degree in history, an international MBA with a specialization in the economies of the Americas, and is a Chartered Investment Manager.
